Quick Start

Prerequisites: a purchased license, Node.js 20+, npm, and a Cloudflare account (for D1 / R2 via Wrangler).

0. Buy and accept the invite

1. Purchase on storecay.com.
2. Check email / GitHub notifications for a collaborator invite to storecay/store-cay-starter.
3. Accept the invite (you cannot clone the private repo until then).

1. Clone

git clone https://github.com/storecay/store-cay-starter.git
cd store-cay-starter
npm install
cp .env.example .env

2. Create local D1 and R2

npx wrangler d1 create store-cay-starter-db
npx wrangler r2 bucket create store-cay-starter-images

Copy the returned database_id into wrangler.jsonc (and confirm the R2 bucket name matches STORAGE).

3. Migrate and seed

npx wrangler d1 migrations apply DB --local
npx tsx scripts/seed-admin.ts admin@storecay.test secret123 "Cay Admin"
npm run seed:products

4. Start the app

npm run dev

• Storefront: http://localhost:8000/
• Admin: http://localhost:8000/admin/login (default admin@storecay.test / secret123)
