Template features

StoreCay Starter is a full edge store: Astro storefront + same-process Admin/API, deployed as one Cloudflare Worker. Data lives in D1, images in R2, payments via Stripe and/or PayPal.

Design choices

• Single Worker — storefront + API + admin; no separate Node server
• D1 — edge-friendly; optimistic inventory updates
• Guest checkout — no customer login; orders use guest token links
• Islands — React only where interaction needs it
• Web Crypto — sessions / password hashing without Node bcrypt
